Event Overview
This is a collaborative event for the “Tokyo Financial Award (TFA)" and "Japan Fintech Week 2025” organized by the Financial Services Agency.
The TFA winners have now been selected.
This event, set to take place at Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB), will feature an TFA award ceremony, followed by pitches from the award winners on their company profiles and services, and networking with session participants.
During the networking session, the award-winning companies and the finalist who made it to the final screening in the Financial Innovation and Sustainability Categories will hold a booth to interact with the visitors.
The event will also feature the “Audience Award” for visitor participation. Thirteen finalists who passed the first-stage screening of the Financial Innovation Category will present their latest financial and Fintech services, and the prize will be awarded to the one company selected by the visitors' votes.
Please join us if you are interested in the latest financial and Fintech market trends, if you are from governments, financial institutions, SIer, and start-up companies or investors (VC/CVC), or if you are looking to expand your business.

About the Tokyo Financial Award
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) announced the "Global Financial City: Tokyo" Vision, which outlines the image of the city that Tokyo should aspire to and the specific measures that should be implemented in order for Tokyo to shine as a world-class global financial city. Since 2018, the TMG has been hosting the “Tokyo Financial Award (TFA)” to recognize financial institutions developing and providing innovative financial products and services that contribute to solving the needs of the residence of Tokyo, as well as financial institutions working to promote sustainable finance.
The TFA recognizes businesses in the two categories: (1) Financial Innovation Category, and (2) Sustainability Category. The objectives of the TFA are to enhance Tokyo's presence as a global financial city, revitalize the financial sector, and improve convenience for residents and businesses in Tokyo.

About Japan Fintech Week
Japan Fintech Week 2025 will be held to promote the attractiveness of Fintech in Japan to the world and to create business opportunities for the further development of Fintech. The core week will run from Monday, March 3 to Friday, March 7. By collaborating with other Fintech-related events of various organizations, including the 9th FIN/SUM 2025 (hosted by the Financial Services Agency and Nikkei Inc.), as well as the events before and after the core week, Japan Fintech Week aims to provide a place to bring together Fintech business professionals from both Japan and abroad.
